Name: Ananta Gauranga Date of Birth: March 30th, 2016 Age: 8 months old Update: It is amazing how similar Ananta was at first to his mother Mangala. Just as Mangala was extremely afraid of us humans, it took a long time before Ananta allowed us to approach him. Even though he was always cared for and treated with love he remained determined to stay away from us as much as he could. This has quickly changed as Ananta grew and as we kept making attempts to gain his trust. Now Ananta is one of the more approachable herd member on our farm. He does not mind you coming to pet him and will gladly stand there for you as you give him all the attention in the world. He developed a very peaceful nature and he is very pleasant to have around. He is very handsome and he probably knows it as he walks around with much pride. He is also the herd’s announcer as he can at many times be heard continually mooing. If he moos it normally means that something new and exciting is happening, that a new pasture has just become available or simply that he would like the rest of the herd to come to where he is at and follow him around
