Name: Nitai Prana Date of Birth: September 5th, 2015 Age: 1 years old Update: Nitai Prana has grown to be a very handsome and gentle natured ox. He is extremely pleasant to be around as he has a very peaceful and tender mood. When he first arrived on the farm he was bottle fed until he learned how to drink milk from his adoptive mother, Yashoda. This allowed us to get really close to him and helped us gain his trust. From the moment he arrived on the farm he was approachable; however, as he grew older and his playful childish nature calmed down it became even easier to just hang around him and pet him for long periods of time. Fil is training Nitai, as well as some other oxen in our herd, to respond to voice commands. Nitai is the ox he enjoys working with the most, just because of his gentle nature and because he is such a quick and easy learner. Although he is over a year old and he calmed down a lot, he can still be found playing around with Murali or some of the younger calves.
