Name: Yashoda Date of Birth: December 11th, 2008 Age: 8 years old Update: Yashoda has always been the herd leader. When she first arrived to the farm she was the oldest cow. However, her age was not the only determining factor, she has a demeanour that demands respect and all the herd members can immediately sense that. Yashoda has never been afraid of us, her human caregivers. However, with time and after a year of being on the farm, one can sense that she feels so much more at ease than she did when she first arrived. While at the beginning she could be approached, she was not too fond of having us too close to her or petting her. Now, she is much more willing and she even seeks our attention and our touch. She loves treats and will always extend her long big head forward and push her tongue out as far as it can reach to get hold of a treat you might be holding in your hand. She is still very motherly to Murali and Nitai Prana and even though they are quite large, and over a year old, they can still be found drinking her milk from time to time.
